Aqua Royal Academy Terms and Conditions
Enrollment and Payment Requirements
To join Aqua Royal Academy’s classes or activities, participants must register and complete payment through our online booking platform before their first session. A confirmation email or message will be sent upon payment completion, securing the participant’s spot. Without this confirmation, participation will be denied.
Participants must adhere to their selected class schedule, chosen during booking. Schedule changes are allowed but require prior approval from our administrative team. Participants attempting to attend unconfirmed classes may be refused entry.
Skill Evaluation and Level Adjustments
An optional evaluation is available before the first class to determine the appropriate level. If no evaluation is conducted, Aqua Royal Academy may reassign participants to a more suitable class based on safety and learning requirements. We also reserve the right to adjust a participant’s level during term or holiday periods to ensure proper skill progression.
Schedule and Instructor Changes
Aqua Royal Academy may modify class schedules or instructors as needed. We reserve the right to:
Adjust class times, with prior notice and alternative session options provided.
Cancel a session in emergencies, such as instructor illness, if no substitute is available.
Replace an instructor with another qualified Academy staff member.
Relocate or cancel a class if the designated facility is unavailable.
Health and Safety Responsibilities
Sports activities carry inherent risks, including but not limited to cardiovascular issues, fainting, or injuries to muscles, bones, or joints, and in rare cases, severe outcomes like heart attack or stroke. Participants or guardians must inform our administrative team of any medical conditions, such as allergies, diabetes, or disabilities, to ensure staff preparedness for emergencies.
Participants must be medically fit to participate, and any health changes must be reported promptly. By enrolling, you accept all risks of injury, death, or property damage associated with participation. Aqua Royal Academy, its staff, and affiliated venues are not liable for any claims, damages, or losses arising from participation. This waiver is binding on participants’ heirs and executors.
Disruptive or unsafe behavior may result in immediate expulsion from activities without a refund. The Academy and its venues are not responsible for injuries, accidents, or property loss for participants, spectators, or visitors, who must secure their own insurance.
Media Usage Agreement
By participating, you consent to photos, videos, or recordings of participants being used for Academy promotional, training, or marketing purposes, including on our website, social media, or printed materials. Some images may be permanently archived. If you object to a participant being photographed or recorded, notify our administrative team in advance. Other attendees may capture media during activities, and it is your responsibility to communicate any concerns to our staff.
Term Payments and Validity Period
Payments for term programs are valid only for the specified term and are non-transferable. Pausing a term requires approval from the Academy Director on a case-by-case basis. Missed classes without prior notification are not eligible for refunds or credits. A non-refundable registration fee is included in term packages.
Each term package has an expiry date, listed on the invoice. All classes, including make-up sessions, must be completed before this date, or they will be forfeited.
Private Lesson Packages
Payments for private or semi-private lessons are valid for a specific period, as noted on the invoice. All sessions must be used within this period, or they will be forfeited. Sessions may be paused with prior approval from the Academy Director.
Make-Up Session Policy
If a participant cannot attend a session, our administrative team must be notified at least 12 hours in advance. Failure to do so forfeits any refund or credit. Make-up sessions are available only until the term’s expiry date, typically during holiday programs to avoid overcrowding. Participants must receive prior confirmation of make-up session schedules and cannot attend unapproved classes.
Cancellation and Refund Terms
Cancellations are permitted within 24 hours of booking and before the first session, with a refund minus a 10% processing fee. Registration fees are non-refundable. No cancellations are allowed after the first session. Approved refunds may take up to 45 days to process via the original payment method.
Refunds are not issued after classes begin, though partial refunds may be granted at the Academy Director’s discretion. Schedule or instructor changes do not qualify for refunds.
Code of Conduct
Participants must follow these rules to ensure a safe and professional environment:
Arrive 5 minutes early, dressed in appropriate athletic attire or Academy team kit.
Remain quiet before classes to avoid disrupting others.
Do not begin activities without instructor supervision.
Jewelry, food, chewing gum, fizzy drinks, or glass containers are prohibited during activities.
Only water or approved hydration drinks in non-glass bottles are allowed.
Parents/guardians must supervise children before and after sessions and ensure they do not leave unaccompanied.
Parents/guardians must stay in designated areas and avoid interacting with participants or instructors during sessions.
Use designated changing facilities; boys aged 6 and older must use male facilities.
All attendees must respect the facilities and behave appropriately. Serious misconduct may result in expulsion without a refund.
Late Arrival Policy
Instructors will not extend sessions for late arrivals. Participants arriving more than 15 minutes late may be denied entry unless prior arrangements are confirmed with our administrative team.
